Blade of Fire's Trip to Honda F1 Operating Centre in UK

Last week I got to go over with Blade of Fire to the Honda F1 Operating Centre in the UK. I have to say, pretty amazing stuff they are doing there. We got to see from design stage right through to the engineers putting a F1 car together in front of us for shipping to China the following day.

Winning Team meet Minister

Last week the Minister for Trade Enterprise and Employment, Micheal Martin, met with students from St Ailbe’s School, Tipperary to launch the 2007 Formula 1 in Schools Technology Challenge powered by Honda.

The students were members of Blade of Fire team who came first in the 2006 races, and were about to fly out to the UK to see the Honda F1 Team Operation Centre with their teacher for a VIP visit, which formed part of their prize.

The St Ailbe’s School winning team, Blade of Fire, consisted of Stephen Quinn, Anthony Power, Siobhan Daly, Stephanie Tracey, and Pat Noonan.
