F1 in Schools Ireland Final

Well I am exhaused by it all anyway, I am sure the teams (and teachers are too!) but a great day I think was had by all last Thursday at the IT in Blanchardstown. The competiton stepped up a gear and so did all the competing teams.

Overall Winners, Team Gear Force from St. Ailbe's School in Tipperary have now qualified for the F1 in Schools World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They will now have to produce a R-type car between now and around next March.

World Champions

Hot off the press

Team FUGA from Northern Ireland have just won the 2007 F1 in Schools World Championship, held this week in Melbourne, Australia. Our teams on Thursday will be competing to represent us at the 2008 World Championship which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

F1 in Schools World Championships

The World Championship of F1 in Schools is occuring at present in Melbourne, Austrialia. I will be back later with the new world champions.

Remember next year's F1 in Schools overall winners will be eligable to compete in the World Championships.....
