Regional Finals 2007

Competing Teams and Results

In February and March 2007 60 teams from 45 schools around Ireland came together to express their creativity, skills and teamworking abilities, share an innovative and exciting educational experience - and determine the best-engineered and fastest F1 in Schools car in Ireland.

To cater for the significantly increased number of entrants the 2007 F1 in Schools finals were divided into two stages: two regional finals followed by a national final.

East Coast Regional Final 2007

When: 7/8 February 2007 Where: Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown,
Blanchardstown Road North,
Dublin 15

The Sports Arena at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) was the venue for the first of the two F1 in Schools 2007 Regional Finals.

West Coast Regional Final 2007

When: 15 February 2007 Where: GMIT, Dublin Road, Galway

The Sports Hall at the Galway Campus of the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) played host to F1 in Schools West Coast 2007 Regional Final.

F1 in Schools National Final 2007

Successful teams from the Regional Finals progressed to the F1 in Schools 2007 National Final which will be hosted by the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB).
