Regional Finals 2010

Teams compete for qualification to 2010 National Final

In March 2010 teams from schools all around Ireland will come together to express their creativity, skills and teamworking abilities, share an innovative and exciting educational experience – and compete to have the best-engineered and fastest F1 in Schools car in Ireland.

To cater for the large number of entrants the qualification stage is divided into two events: a Southern Regional Final, to be held in Cork on 2 March, and an Eastern Regional Final, to be held in Dublin on 11-12 March.

The F1 in Schools 2010 National Final will be held on 29 April at Griffith College Dublin.

 

Southern Regional Final

Cork Institute of Technology, 2 March 2010

The Cork Institute of Technology will host the Southern Regional Final on 2 March 2010.

Eastern Regional Final

Griffith College Dublin, 11-12 March 2010

Griffith College Dublin (GCD), located on Dublin's South Circular Road, will be the venue for the Eastern Regional Final on 2 March 2010.

You can find map of the location, along with detailed directions for getting there, on the GCD website.

The two-day event will be hosted in GCD's Auditorium in the Academic Facilities Building. A detailed map of the GCD campus itself is here.
